Reclaim offers a drop-off point for members of the public to unload readily recyclable material in an environmentally sustainable way. This drop-off point follows source separation principles, whereby waste is separated at source by material type before any processing occurs. This method helps to maintain material integrity and keep contamination to a minimum, so that Reclaim can make sure items dropped off are recycled.
The Public Drop-Off Area is located at 6 Chapmans Road, Hillsborough. Parking is available on the roadside in front of the public drop-off point.
Open hours:
Mondays: 6.30am to 2.00pm
Tuesdays: 6.30am to 2.00pm
Wednesdays: 6.30am to 2.00pm
Thursdays: 6.30am to 2.00pm
Fridays: 6.30am to 2.00pm
Weekends: CLOSED
Public holidays (including 25th & 26th December and 1st & 2nd January): CLOSED

- Flattened corrugated cardboard

- Plastic Corflute
- Cardboard boxes which have not been broken down (unflattened)
- Chilltainer (aluminium-lined cardboard)

- Office paper
- Boxboard (cereal boxes)
- Newspaper
Paper
- Paper with a plastic laminate (e.g. photocopier ream covers)
- Non-recyclable paper alternatives (plastic laminate, rock paper)
- Ringbinders (please remove paper from ring binders before disposing of in here)
Plastic Film
- Clean, clear #4 (LDPE) plastic film
- Clean, clear pallet/shrink wrap
Plastic Film
- Plastic containers with #3, #4, #5, #6 or #7 on it
- Plastic items with no numbers on them
- Coloured plastic
- Soft plastics (e.g. bread bags and other plastics that are accepted in supermarket soft plastics bins)
- Polystyrene
- Items with residual liquid/food
Please note: polystyrene and plastic foams are not accepted in any of our public drop-off bins.
