Your local council will help you recycle properly
This is where you can find out what is happening in your own region. Your local council or a community group may well be undertaking recycling initiatives or can simply offer you help.
This section helps you understand how to identify these recyclable resources and how to procure the most recyclable options.
Below is a list of local councils to help you with recycling matters in your area. Councils can vary in what they can accept as part of the recycling services they provide, especially in relation to certain types of plastics. You should check what is, and perhaps is not, recycled by your local council.
If you are seeking recycling services for a business, your local council may provide only basic collection services and you may wish to consider independent collection services. We advise that not all companies pay the same attention to recycling assurance and encourage you to seek verification that your recyclables are actually being recycled.
We attempt to keep the below list as current as possible. However, councils can change their websites at any time. If any of the below links do not work or you think they require updating, please let us know the link in question by emailing [email protected] and we can investigate.
